My work is underpinned by a strong interest in mark, pattern and colour. I enjoy blurring the boundaries between the disciplines and like to work intuitively creating a language of marks and gestures regardless of the materials I am using.

My work is underpinned by a strong interest in mark, pattern and colour. I enjoy blurring the boundaries between the disciplines and like to work intuitively creating a language of marks and gestures regardless of the materials I am using.
My recent work consists of series’ of drawings and are anchored by the theme of ‘modern woman’. Through these drawings I explore the notion of femininity and how it is expressed both culturally and through the nature of the individual; how women assert their femininity within various cultures and what it means to be both ‘modern’ and female in our global society.
